The Fire Risk Assessor Role
As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will conduct type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) across residential, commercial, private, and educational sectors. Your role will involve liaising with clients to provide comprehensive and competent fire safety advice. Staying up-to-date with current legislation, fire safety strategies, and fire management plans will be crucial to your success. This position covers the Slough, Reading, and Guildford areas, offering you the chance to manage your own diary and work flexibly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments across various sectors
* Provide expert fire safety advice to clients
* Develop and implement fire safety strategies and fire management plans
* Stay informed about current fire safety legislation
* Identify solutions to fire safety-related problems
* Prepare relevant documents, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
* Keen interest in fire safety
* Experience in conducting type 1-4 risk assessments
* Ability to develop fire safety strategies (training provided)
* Strong problem-solving skills related to fire safety
* Capability to support the preparation of documents, policies, and procedures
* Interest in career progression within the risk assessment industry
