Our client is a leading agricultural business specialising in the breeding and rearing of pigs to the highest RSPCA Assured standards. This position will be working within the existing team ensuring smooth running of pig health, welfare & movements across the farming business.
What You’ll Do:
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our contract growers and finishers.
* Assisting with stock movements and advising on pig selection for slaughter ensuring they meet the target weight and quality.
* Ensuring the day-to-day health of livestock is in line with RSPCA assurance standards and Company policy, advising when required.
* Communication with the production team on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of all operations.
