The role The regional sales manager role will see you working with the wider sales team as well as having direct responsibility for some of the instrumentation divisions customers both old and new. As a key member of the divisional sales team you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to the existing network of global distribution partners. Business Development will drive the need for an ongoing assessment of the current network, ensuring that current partners continue to be the right ones. Removing or adding others where performance does not meet expectations whilst also developing sales within lower value territories and supporting the needs of end users. As this is a customer facing role, visiting integral partners and customers will be a huge part of this role. As such, my client is open to considering candidates who are keen on extensive travel or candidates with the relevant experience who are already locat4ed in the APAC region. Working closely with all key stakeholders to help in provide the latest information for technology and product road maps with the aim of further increasing market share and financial performance Duties and Responsibilities will include: Drive sales for the instrumentation division within the APAC region Working as a high performance team that delivers exceptional service to customers both old and new Take the lead in seeking out new business development opportunities in both direct sales and new product/ market development Supporting the Head of Instrumentation in producing, agreeing and implementing divisional sales strategy Keep abreast of competitor activity and up to date with competing technologies within the market place Providing product training and up to date advice to partners and distributors Responsible for planning the aims, objectives and priorities within the department. Communicating this to the team and colleagues Responsible for the comprehensive accurate use of hubspot. Including managing and monitoring sales pipeline Contribute to sales and support documentation to ensure they are clear, accurate and creating new content to fill any gaps Working with the Marketing team to develop new content, events and webinars to help drive customer engagement and the acquisition of new business Proactively assist in other areas of the business as and where necessary Be an instrumentation champion, internally and externally, ensuring they are represented within the company and promoted externally Creating in-depth sales reports and forecasts detailing market activity, competitors within the territory and all other detail from distributors business and future goals Work closely with product managers and be the voice of the customers The Person For this important role we are seeking someone with the following skills and attributes: A high performing sales professional with a strong work ethic Outstanding people skills and fantastic networking capabilities Ideally, a deep knowledge of instrumentation and gas detection products Experience of working within a Technical Manufacturing industry The ability to convey complex technical topics with simplicity to a wider audience Proven experience of delivering and preparing presentations at all levels in a variety of business forums Details This role is offered on a Full-time, permanent basis.
