ROLE PURPOSE
Your responsibilities will include scheduling exams and assessments, performing checks on programme controls, ensuring evidence is supplied to support funding claims, developing and maintaining effective compliance processes and procedures, and conducting regular audits on evidence packs. You will also provide support to apprentices, employers, and internal staff to communicate assessment and compliance procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plan and co-ordinate end-point assessment exams for apprentices, working closely with apprentices, employers, EPA exam bodies, and internal colleagues.
2. Manage and prioritise queries through a dedicated end-point assessment inbox.
3. Carry out compliance checks on data and documentation, update relevant systems, and communicate issues and queries to other stakeholders.
4. Carry out online exam invigilation.
5. Ensure the smooth flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
6. Update internal process documents to reflect changes to procedures.
7. Complete compliance checks on documentation for all apprentices, ensuring that evidence is robust and meets funding rules and regulations, resolving any issues by working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.
8. Support the compliance team with the monthly ILR return to the ESFA, ensuring ILRs are accurate, error-free, and timely in-line with funding guidance.
9. Update monthly operational data reports and tracking systems.
10. Identify and share best practices and ensure consistent delivery of highly compliant services.
11. You will be part of a Compliance Team which continuously seeks to build better, more efficient processes.
12. Participate in the clients' Appraisal Scheme.
13. Comply with all the company's policies and procedures.
14. Commitment to Safeguarding and Prevent Duty, ensuring that this commitment is demonstrated in all aspects of the role as appropriate.
15. Work to the clients' compliance standards within the context of the clients' systems.
16. Provide information on best practices and deliver staff training as appropriate.
17. Develop and maintain knowledge and experience through CPD.
18. Ensure punctual arrival at the workplace at the agreed start time.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Qualified to Level 2 standard for English and Mathematics
Entitled to live and work in the UK
Experience
1. Expertise in paperwork processing and compliance checks
2. Experience in a busy office environment
3. Working with Education and Skills funding systems
4. Planning and scheduling end-point assessments
Knowledge and understanding
1. Good knowledge and confidence with using office applications such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
2. Understanding of ESFA funded programmes
3. ILR processing
Skills
1. Proficient in management information
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
4. Ability to work with initiative and plan work for a team to meet conflicting and changing priorities
