The post-holder will report directly to the Director of College Counseling and will support students in grades 9 - 12 on all aspects of college counseling matters, working to provide a positive approach, advocating for his/her students throughout their college application process, meeting regularly and individually with students and families so that each student is emboldened to take ownership over their application process and pathways. Candidate profile: An experienced College Counselor who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues; Highly professional with a sound knowledge of college admissions and/or college counseling policies and procedures; An excellent communicator with the ability to create positive relationships and build a strong rapport with students, colleagues, parents and other stake holders; Committed to safeguarding children and young people; and Extensive experience with post-secondary options in the UK and USA, as well other worldwide options such as the EU.
