Our client, a prominent entity in the technology sector, is seeking an Ivanti EPM Engineer for a contract role. This opportunity involves supporting the operational delivery of Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite and its associated services. The role is a critical one, focusing on the technical delivery of strategic projects as well as the ongoing operational support of services. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the availability of the Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite and services, including Patch Management, OS Provisioning, and Software Delivery Develop, implement, and communicate Plan, Build, Check, and Run activities associated with Ivanti, such as corporate build, packaging deployments, custom content creation for vulnerabilities, and reporting Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities in the End User estate within agreed timelines Ensure support calls are within SLA, advising line management through KPI's Maintain security levels and perform regular patch management of both operating systems and applications Assist in maturing packaging and delivery strategy through continuous improvement, including OS deployment and user data migration Define processes and policies for the selection and delivery of new end user devices and manage specifications Maintain awareness of technical developments in the industry and contribute to roadmaps for the Infrastructure Services estate Escalate problems or complaints to line management and assist in their resolution Skills and Experience: Experience with Ivanti Endpoint Management Suite, including provisioning for OS installations, patch management, reporting, software distribution, and administration Experience producing reports and dashboards in Ivanti Extraction Experienced in Windows 7 & 10, including installation, configuration, and fault finding in an enterprise environment Proficient in PowerShell and VB scripting Experience with Microsoft App-V, Windows Installer technologies, MSI's, and tools such as AdminStudio Strong problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities Experience working within the ITIL framework, including change and release management Excellent communication and documentation skills A proactive approach with the ability to inspire within a team environment Desirable: Understanding of Endpoint Security Experience with Unified Endpoint Management Knowledge of IT Asset Management Personal Requirements: Excellent communication skills Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability A proactive, motivated approach Ability to operate with urgency and prioritise work effectively Strong decision-making skills and sound judgement Structured and logical approach to work Creative and innovative problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to manage large workloads and meet tight deadlines High attention to detail and accuracy Calm approach under pressure Strong numerical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office If you are an experienced Ivanti EPM Engineer ready for a challenging contract role, we encourage you to apply now and become a valuable part of our client's team.
