In this role, you will identify, analyze, and mitigate potential fraud threats by collaborating with multiple teams across the bank to implement control changes and process improvements, safeguarding our customers from fraud.
To be successful as a Cybercrime Intelligence Fraud Analyst, you should have experience in:
* Cyber-fraud intelligence collection & analysis, cyber-enabled fraud investigations, or financial crime/money laundering investigations.
* Knowledge of malicious tools used by cyber adversaries targeting the financial sector, including eBanking Trojans, POS/ATM malware, mobile malware, webinjects, and phishing kits.
* Experience with fraud detection and prevention systems.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
Additional valued skills include:
* Knowledge of social engineering tactics used by cybercriminals.
* Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA, and Teams.
* ICA Certificate/Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention.
* Understanding of POCA 2002, Money Laundering Regulations, and Barclays standards.
This role may assess key skills such as risk management, controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital/technical expertise.
This position is based at our Knutsford or Northampton campus.
Purpose of the role
Monitor operational controls, manage security controls, and apply lessons learned to protect the bank from cyber-attacks and respond effectively to threats.
Accountabilities
* Manage security monitoring systems to detect and respond to cyber security incidents, minimizing system damage.
* Identify emerging cyber threats and attack techniques, collaborating with industry conferences and networks for knowledge sharing.
* Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats.
* Triage data loss prevention alerts to prevent sensitive data exfiltration.
* Manage cyber security incidents, including remediation and closure.
