Do you have proven experience of working in an Asset Data Management role? Do you communicate clearly, and are you brilliant in managing and influencing internal & external stakeholders? Perhaps you also have experience in providing training to colleagues, validating their quality of work, and providing constructive feedback?
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We have a really exciting role available in our Asset Data Delivery Team, on a 12 month temporary basis.
Our Asset Data Delivery Team is accountable for maintaining Severn Trent’s Asset Data register for company assets. They process asset updates from approved internal and external stakeholders in accordance with established quality standards for data held in SAP. This is why it’s key that you have an ability to not just build, but also maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
In the role, you will pro-actively communicate and manage relationships with a variety of internal & external stakeholders, to ensure high quality asset updates are received in a timely manner. You’ll be the first point of escalation for these stakeholders, and you should be able to accept challenges from stakeholders and manage these constructively. A key part of the role is to be the voice for the team in stakeholder meetings and be able to confidently challenge our stakeholders in line with our team's standards. If the situation arises, you’ll be expected to put your PPE on, travel to investigate the site in person and gather accurate data.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Apart from being a great fit for the team, you will be required to work collaboratively within our department and be confident in delivering feedback and coaching on process improvements.
You’ll be managing the workflow, including prioritising workflows according to business needs. You should also have experience in packaging up large pieces of work and be effective at managing work allocation and completion to deadlines, whilst taking into account resource availability and skill set, alongside managing stakeholder expectations.
Lastly, due to the nature of the role, we’re looking for someone who isn’t just self-motivated, but can also motivate those around them and work well in a team. Does this sound like you? If so, then take a look at our amazing benefits below and apply now.
The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity and a caring attitude, we want to talk to you, too.
We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We want people who show up and get involved. Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care. Is that you?
