This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer vacancy offers a salary of circa £40,000, plus company pension match, generous holiday allowance, and overtime opportunities at x 1.5 and x 2 for those who want it, taking potential earnings to in excess of £46,000/£47,000.

Responsibility of Maintenance Engineer
1. Responsible for the development of plant-wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure the optimum performance of the factory
2. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service Repairs, and Reactive maintenance on:
o Conveyors
o Shafts
o Bearings
o Drives
o Gearboxes
o Pumps
o Hydraulics
o Pneumatics
3. Ensure optimum running capacity for the plant, keeping downtime to a minimum and working as part of a forward-thinking dynamic engineering team
To Be Successful as a Maintenance Engineer, You Will Need to Hold the Following Qualifications:
1. City and Guilds Level 3
2. BTEC & NVQ Level 3, OR
3. Apprenticeship as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
4. Direct production line Mechanical Maintenance Engineer experience
5. Pre-Planned and reactive industrial production Maintenance experience
