Engineering Trainer Level 3 and Level 4 Apprenticeships
Location - North Yorkshire (All delivery is on-site)
Salary - Up to £41,000
Contract - Full-time, permanent
We are working with a long-established private training provider in North Yorkshire who is expanding their team with the addition of an Engineering Trainer. This is a full-time, permanent role based at their modern training facility. The focus will be on classroom delivery of Level 3 and Level 4 Engineering Apprenticeships, supporting learners through a high-quality, engaging learning experience that draws on your industry expertise.
Areas you will be covering include:
1. Engineering Management
2. CAD
3. Engineering Science and Maths
4. Engineering Principles (Either Mechanical or Electrical depending on your background)
You do not need to have delivered every topic previously. If you have a solid foundation in some of these areas, training and support will be provided to develop the rest.
What we are looking for?
1. Experience in teaching or training is an advantage, but not essential
2. A strong background in engineering, whether mechanical, electrical or CAD based
3. A genuine interest in coaching and developing apprentices
4. If you do not already hold a teaching qualification, this can be supported as part of the role
5. Ideally, you will hold a minimum of HND qualification in your relevant area.
Please don’t be put off from applying if you currently hold a Level 3 qualification. There are still plenty of opportunities within the role that you would be able to get involved with, and support can be provided for further development.
