Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team in the Women and Children's Division at Conquest Hospital in Hastings. This role will involve working alongside the Lead Pharmacist for Women and Children to provide a pharmacy service to the inpatient wards and supporting paediatric outpatients. In addition, with supervision from the Lead Pharmacist you will be able to lead on projects that support the directorate achieve clinical, pharmaceutical or financial targets. Main duties of the job In this role, you will work closely with consultants, medical staff, midwives, nurses, pharmacy teams, and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical pharmacy services to the Women and Children's inpatient wards and paediatric outpatients. You will also support the dispensary as needed and be part of the wider clinical pharmacy team. This role includes a focus on staff education and development. You will be involved in training and mentoring pre-registration trainee pharmacists, pharmacy undergraduates, and rotational clinical pharmacists. At the same time, you will be supported in pursuing your own professional development, with opportunities that align with both your career goals and the needs of the department. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in the department's weekend and on-call service on a rota basis after completing an orientation and induction period.
