Job summary: The Marketing Executive supports the Marketing Director, and the organisation as a whole, through creating digital assets for marketing, communications and promotional activity. This position requires a creative, flexible individual with strong IT skills, who is able to create assets for a range of uses within ICGN’s brand, and collaborate with colleagues.

Responsibilities:
Creation of digital assets
o Create images, audio and video assets to support ICGN’s marketing and promotion plans for activities across the organisation (including events, membership, Policy publications and advocacy and the organisation’s overall brand positioning) in line with our brand.
o This will include, but is not limited to:
· Social media graphics (mainly LinkedIn)
· Audio – podcast episodes, sessions from events/webinars, short interviews/clips for social media, to be used for promotion and as part of our online education content
· Video – from events, webinars and other activity, to be used for promotion and as part of our online education content
· Website images and content
· Webinar slides and branding
· Physical events (e.g., stand, banner)
Website updating and maintenance
o Adding content to, and editing existing content on, ICGN’s website across all our activities; making this as effective and user-friendly as possible
o Collaborating on the development of our e-learning hub and member webinars, working closely with our Education and Events Executive
Social media
o Working with the Marketing Director on a social media schedule, ensuring that assets for planned activities (eg Policy publications, events) are available in a timely way, and are coherent and on brand.
o Preparing social media posts for planned activities and scheduling these as required.
o Compiling monthly social media statistics and using these to optimise our posts.
Working with our brand
o Working with and supporting the development of our brand, both for specific activities (eg our 30th Anniversary year) and the organisation as a whole.
o Working with the Marketing Director to ensure brand guidelines are appropriate and up to date for digital applications, and that ICGN has appropriate assets in place (eg for use on different podcast platforms).
o Supporting colleagues to use our brand effectively
o Supporting external stakeholders in using our brand (eg by creating branded graphics for sponsors/speakers, or working with an external designer)
Data:
o Maintain and update marketing data (including our mailing lists and press contacts) to ensure these are accurate and data is stored in line with data protection rules, working with ICGN’s Membership team.

Skills, knowledge, and experience
* Experience of working in a marketing/comms team.
* Experience of a membership organisation is desirable but not essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), website CMS and in the use of design software, audio and video editing.
* Experience of using Mailchimp (or a similar mass emailer) is desirable but not essential.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, organised approach.
* Ability to work flexibly, prioritizing multiple tasks and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
