Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Slough Are you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity in a vibrant school community? We are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our team in Slough, helping to inspire and support pupils on their educational journey. About the Role As an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachers and students, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. You will take on additional responsibilities, such as leading small group interventions, covering lessons when required, and assisting with lesson planning and resource preparation. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored group sessions and one-to-one interventions to meet individual pupil needs. Support the class teacher with planning, assessment, and feedback. Provide high-quality classroom cover during teacher absences or PPA time. Foster an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages all pupils to thrive. Help create engaging resources and vibrant classroom displays. Promote positive behaviour management strategies across the school. What We’re Looking For: A Level 4 HLTA qualification or significant experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum. A creative and proactive approach to teaching and learning. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
