Job Description:
The Role
A Manager with a SAP Controls focus within the team would typically be responsible for driving growth of all SAP service lines as part of the wider ERP & Business Systems team. Responsibilities include developing new business from existing clients and prospects, building relationships with blue chip organisations, and establishing expertise in assurance and consulting support.
Responsibilities
1. Managing sales activities such as responding to RFPs, audit tenders, bid management, proposal writing, and client presentations.
2. Leading and managing SAP security and controls engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
3. Evaluating the design and effectiveness of SAP controls throughout business cycles.
4. Overseeing the output from client engagements, including scoping, financial management, and risk management.
5. Building and maintaining relationships with clients at CIO, CFO, and Head of Internal Audit levels.
6. Collaborating across teams to design and implement controls for SAP implementation programs.
7. Developing internal networks and promoting SAP capabilities within KPMG.
8. Expanding SAP services in specific segments such as B2C and B2B, and across other sectors.
9. Coaching team members and training colleagues in SAP and related areas.
10. Leading product development and innovation in SAP GRC, data, and analytics technologies.
The Person
Experience and Background
1. Experience in SAP Security, including Basis and Role design.
2. Understanding of SAP business analysis and core financial processes.
3. Experience with ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle.
4. Functional experience with SAP GRC, Financials, and BPC.
5. Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other modules.
6. Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley controls and controls optimization.
7. Ability to present on industry subjects and relate system risks and controls to business environments.
8. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to deliver work within tight deadlines.
