What you'll do:
1. Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
2. Support smooth kitchen operations by following directions from senior staff and coordinating with junior team members.
3. Ensure food quality, proper portion control, minimal wastage, and timely service during busy periods.
4. Uphold health, safety, and hygiene regulations, report hazards, and use equipment responsibly.
5. Deliver excellent customer service, seek personal improvement, and maintain professionalism within the team and company.
What you'll bring:
1. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and creativity in delivering food solutions.
2. Follows set menus and operational procedures consistently.
3. Maintains cleanliness and hygiene with a “clean as you go” approach.
4. Supports the sous chef in all kitchen duties and operations.
5. Fully understands and complies with food safety, allergens, and health and safety standards - City & Guilds, NVQ Food Safety.
