We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant (FSA) to manage and support the front-of-house operations for the catering team. In this vital role, the FSA will ensure that all food service areas are clean, organised and welcoming, whilst delivering high-quality customer service to students, staff and visitors. The role also involves assisting with afternoon event setups and ensuring that events run smoothly and professionally. You will be working closely with the Chef Manager and the kitchen team to ensure seamless operation and a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a key role in supporting the success of the School functions, grab-and-go services and catering events.
The working hours will be 35 hours per week, Term-time only (35 weeks) Monday to Friday, 07:00-14:30, permanent contract, at St Marys Senior School.
Key duties include but not limited to:
* General kitchen tasks and duties.
* Adherence to food safety regulations and allergy guidelines.
* Support event catering for functions, including fine dining and summer programmes.
* All legal documentation kept electronically and up to date.
