We are currently seeking dedicated NIGHTS Factory Operatives to join our team in Eastfield, Scarborough. This position involves working with heavy machinery and requires a good level of physical fitness due to the heavy lifting involved.
Job Title: NIGHTS Factory Operative
Location: Eastfield, Scarborough
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + £10 per night premium (total £12.69 per hour)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: 10 PM - 6 AM (Sunday - Thursday)
Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate the furnace and maintain safe working conditions
2. Use machinery to cut sharp edges off glass
3. Perform heavy lifting as required
4. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
5. Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment preferred
2. Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
3. Ability to work night shifts and adhere to safety protocols
4. Strong work ethic and attention to detail
