Team Leader, Work & Wellbeing
Contract: Permanent, 29.6 hours
Salary: £34,391 per annum, pro rata
Location: Doncaster - community-based.

More about the role:
We are seeking a motivated Team Leader to lead our WorkWell team in Doncaster, to drive performance and deliver a high quality employment support service. In this role you will oversee the day to day operations of the team, ensuring staff are supported, key performance indicators are met and our customers receive the best possible service. The Team Leader will work collaboratively with partners, businesses and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and outcomes for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead, manage and support a team of Employment Specialists
* Drive performance to achieve key objectives and service outcomes
* Monitor team performance, provide coaching and support professional development
* Develop and implement strategies that drive improvement
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, behaviours and funding requirements
* Analyse data and report on key performance indictors
* Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders and partners
* Uphold SYHA behaviours and values.
About WorkWell
WorkWell is a pilot project launched jointly by the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC). WorkWell supports individuals with health conditions to stay in, return to or gain employment.
We provide early-intervention support through comprehensive health and work assessments, helping individuals overcome health-related barriers to employment. WorkWell also serves as a single point of access, connecting people to a wide range of local support services tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.
We collaborate with mental and physical health teams including NHS Trusts, DWP and other referral partners to assist individuals who are employed facing difficulties at work. Additionally, WorkWell offers support to individuals who have been out of work for up to 3 months, helping people access the right support and resources to improve their wellbeing and re-enter the workforce.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
* Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others to stay well and achieve in their role
* An excellent understanding of employment support and the local labour market
* The ability to drive improvement through focused performance management
* Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people and stakeholders
* A non-judgemental approach with a genuine belief that people with a health condition or experiencing disadvantage can find and sustain paid employment
* A positive mindset, able to handle setbacks and challenges, and a commitment to working in a strengths-based way
* Be willing to work across South Yorkshire as required.
