To confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to ensure high levels of customer service whilst maintaining focus on maximising sales and the profitability of Spares business within DHSTo understand and interpret customer requirements, suggesting more appropriate product alternatives if applicable, and to take advantage of all add on selling opportunities to maximise profit whilst maintaining the highest level of customer confidence and satisfaction.To build up and maintain good customer relations and to keep the customer appropriately informed throughout the order processFacilitate seamless working relationships across both business identities, ensuring operational requirements are met in full.To ensure product knowledge and awareness is optimised within the branch, providing a specialist point of contact.Manage a small team and wider stakeholders to ensure consistent service on the counter. Work alongside the wider sales team to explore and take advantage of new opportunities. Take full accountability for the margin within the trade counter customers to ensure maximum value from every sale.You: You’ll be self motivated and a real team player, ideally with some previous Spares experience in a busy customer focused environment and have the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills. You’ll thrive in a team environment, supporting the wider team while setting and maintaining high standards of work.Required skills and competencies: Previous Spares experience.Previous staff management experience with the ability to lead, motivate and develop staff.Previous experience in a similar role or Assistant Spares Unit Manager position.Familiar with IT packages, word, excel etcExcellent communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Don’t meet every single requirement?
