The vacancy
We’re looking for a digital marketing communications executive who understands and implements SEO best practices, to produce quality writing that connects with target audiences, boosts engagement, and enhances brand awareness. You will assist in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing communications and have an awareness of, and contribute to, the marketing & BD strategy with particular focus around understanding our sector approach and key engagement opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Producing innovative and well-researched content to a high standard for the firm, according to given style and assignment specifications before deadlines.
* Developing, implementing, and delivering leading social media campaigns to raise brand, engage with target audience and convert traffic on all social channels.
* Working closely with the marketing communications manager and senior marketing communications executive to strategise long term content plans, creating strong written content that grabs the attention of the audience and promotes engagement.
* Maintaining the firm’s website and keeping abreast of technological advancements and engagement levels.
Skills required:
* Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent grammatical and accuracy skills, with ability to critique other people’s drafts.
* Proven experience as a content or copywriter.
* Excellent understanding of digital marketing best practices and knowledge of social media platforms and digital media outlets.
* Previous experience of working in B2B and B2C social media and managing a network of channels using a variety of social media tools.
* Strong knowledge of SEO and experience with analytical tools, such as Google Analytics to generate accurate reporting.
* Knowledge of web CMS systems or the ability to learn a new system.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Desired skills:
* Conversant with Hootsuite to assist with the co-ordination of content shared across all digital platforms.
* Experience of using photo editing software.
* Ability to act quickly and react to trending topics and stories.
