We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management Specialist. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's identity and access management processes, ensuring secure, efficient, and user-friendly access to critical systems. You will focus on maintaining robust security practices, compliance, and governance across our access controls while working closely with various teams, including IT, compliance, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identity Lifecycle Management:
1. Manage the full lifecycle of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and modification of accounts for employees, contractors, and external partners.
2. Ensure the timely review, approval, and revocation of user access rights.
Access Control Systems:
1. Implement, configure, and maintain IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM)).
2. Define and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) policies to ensure appropriate access levels for users.
IAM Process Design and Optimization:
1. Design and improve IAM workflows, processes, and policies to streamline user access while enhancing security.
2. Ensure IAM processes align with company standards, industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX), and best practices.
Security and Compliance:
1. Conduct regular audits, access reviews, and recertification processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
2. Identify, investigate, and respond to security risks and incidents related to IAM, including unauthorized access or account misuse.
Collaboration and Support:
1. Work with IT teams, system owners, and business units to ensure proper integration of IAM systems across platforms.
2. Provide technical expertise and support for IAM-related issues, including troubleshooting, escalations, and incident response.
Documentation and Reporting:
1. Maintain up-to-date documentation for IAM policies, procedures, and system configurations.
2. Generate reports on access logs, violations, and audits for internal review and external compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
1. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or related fields such as IT security, systems administration, or network security.
Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency with IAM technologies such as Microsoft Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, CyberArk, or equivalent.
2. Hands-on experience with authentication protocols (e.g., LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID).
3. Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
4. Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for scripting IAM workflows is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), or CompTIA Security+.
2. Experience in managing IAM within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
3. Familiarity with privileged access management (PAM) tools.
