Description Design and Creative Lead Brands (Menswear, Womenswear and Childrenswear) Let's Take It On Leicester Head Office with travel to London office From £90,000 (depending on experience) We are looking for a Design & Creative Lead to join our Brands team. This is a rare opportunity and one not to be missed. You will be leading the trend direction for the entire brand's business and executing the creative vision for Brands on the NEXT website (Menswear, Womenswear and Childrenswear). When it comes to retail it is hard to find a company with a bigger focus on Trend and Design. We host over 600 Brands on our website and sell thousands of items an hour. We have a loyal customer base who come back to us time and time again to buy the latest trends from the latest brands. Key Responsibilities Trend Direction: Having great design vision and awareness of changing market trends, identify and clearly communicate new, growing and declining trends to support the wider branded team make informed decisions when buying new product ranges. Creative Direction: You will be setting the vision and having clarity of message. Develop, communicate and execute in collaboration with the photography team the overall creative vision for Brands on the NEXT website across fashion and sports brands. Team Leadership: Effectively communicating the vision and direction with clear goals and expectations, keeping the team highly motivated and inspired to contribute their best. Creating a positive environment through recognition and constructive feedback where openness is encouraged. Communication: Understanding the need for strong and effective communication, building and maintaining relationships with your immediate team and other key stakeholders in the branded business and the wider NEXT business. Budget Management: Manage the cost centre budget for photography and design travel. Travel: Travel will feature heavily in this role with visits to trade shows and inspiration trips, as well as trips to our other offices based in central London and Market Harborough. There is a team of 4 direct reports and a wider team of 150 people across the buying and merchandising functions.
