The Site Lead is a key position responsible for overseeing the daily operations at aspecific practice site. This role ensures the smooth functioning of thepractice by managing staff, overseeing patient care activities, and maintaininghigh standards of service delivery and safety. The Site Lead acts as a pivotallink between the practice staff and the Assistant Practice Manager,facilitating effective communication and efficient operational management.

Role duties
Operational Management:
Daily OperationsOversight: Supervise the daily operations of the practice site, ensuring allactivities run smoothly and efficiently.
Staff Management:Manage the site staff, including scheduling, task assignment, and performancemonitoring to ensure high levels of productivity and quality patient care.
FacilityManagement: Act as first port of call for any maintenance and operation issuedat the site and escalate to ensure they are safe and meet the needs of staffand patients.
Patient Care Coordination:
ServiceCoordination: Coordinate patient services, including appointment scheduling,patient registration, to optimise patient flow and satisfaction.
ComplaintResolution: Act as the first point of contact for patient complaints at thesite, resolving issues effectively and improving service quality continuously.
Health and SafetyCompliance: Ensure the site complies with health and safety standards,conducting regular checks and coordinating with healthcare professionals tomaintain a safe environment.
Communication andReporting:
InternalCommunication: Facilitate effective communication within the site and withother parts of the organisation, ensuring that all staff are informed ofoperational policies and procedures.
Reporting:Compile reports on site activities, issues, and outcomes for the AssistantPractice Manager, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
Leadership andDevelopment:
Team Leadership:Provide leadership and direction to the site team, promoting an ethos ofteamwork, cooperation, and continuous improvement.
StaffDevelopment: Identify training needs and opportunities for staff development,organising sessions and mentoring staff to enhance their skills andcapabilities.

ComplianceMonitoring: Regularly review and ensure compliance with all organisationalpolicies and procedures, as well as legal regulations.
