An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join ESNEFT as a Provider Collaborative PMO Lead.
This role ensures project and programme outputs are delivered effectively, including the monitoring and reporting of progress for a range of collaborative projects across East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. Responsibilities include maintaining strong governance processes and standardisation of documents for projects and overarching transformation team governance, highlighting any potential impact on delivery/achievement of benefits.
You will be responsible for providing Programme Management Office services to the Suffolk and North-East Essex Provider Collaborative and supporting other team members as required.
Main duties of the job
* Create project documentation aligned to recognised project management principles and methodologies at ESNEFT and WSFT, ensuring all aspects of project management best practices are met.
* Identify and deliver financial and efficiency savings via collaborative projects, providing practical project management and governance support to ensure programme delivery, tracking, and milestone review.
* Engage with action owners to provide updates, identify slippage to deadlines/milestones, and challenge action owners to regain traction, ensuring delivery within timeframe to achieve agreed benefits.
* Promote the use of transformation project management processes to facilitate design and improvement safely in line with identified priorities.
* Support the development of project plans and the delivery of agreed milestones and objectives, amalgamating into programme-level plans.
* Co-ordinate minutes, agendas, and papers for distribution in preparation for meetings, ensuring timely completion.
* Support engagement plans for the programme to proactively ensure positive relations are developed and maintained between team members, clients, and key stakeholders throughout the project.

Person Specification
Experience
* Experience working within an acute NHS organisation.
* Project Management Office (PMO) experience managing projects, including the creation of project plans, tracking risks and issues, and formal change agreement.
* Experience of presenting to multi-disciplinary groups.
* Experience of working in a complex environment.
* Experience in process mapping clinical pathways and non-clinical processes, swim lane, flow charts.
* Evidence of supporting successful project and/or operational performance and improvement, including the development and monitoring of output and outcome measures.
* Project experience in supporting specific services, including design, development, implementation, and management of change in a multi-professional environment.
* Experience working with data - recording, analysing, and presenting.
* Experience in working with external organisations to understand and share best practice.
* Experience of managing process improvement initiatives.
* Experience of working in a large programme environment.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Formal training in project management methodology (e.g., PRINCE 2).
* Formal training in process improvement methodology.
* Awareness of PMO working practice.
Knowledge
* Demonstrable knowledge of process improvement methods and approaches.
* Knowledge of health service management, including change and project management.
* Proficient use of IT systems (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Project Management Tools) - standard keyboard skills.
* Understanding of Trust clinical strategy.
* Demonstrable knowledge of service improvements, change management, and project management.
* Knowledge of the transformation programme within the trust.
