Here at our Preston site, we have a new opportunity for an Account Support team member to join us where you will be managing a Key Customer account. In this role you will provide efficient co-ordination of sales right through from order execution to delivery as per the customer’s instructions and company’s operational ability.
You will be working closely with the Key Accounts Team to provide the best service to the customer and have an active role in the communication. The Account Support role is there to provide customers with information on stocks, raise day to day orders and ensure that orders are processed and delivered on time.
You will be the point of contact for the customer where all enquiries will be managed efficiently, resolving problems within a short response time. Regular contact will be made also with internal departments establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Key duties:
* To fully understand the customer contract/order requirements
* Raise SAP sales orders within an agreed timescale
* Contract review sales orders to ensure they are entered correctly into SAP
* To liaise with various internal departments to ensure the contract deliverables are achieved
* Where required, liaise with external providers of materials and services to ensure the contract deliverables are met
* Generate and act upon both internal reports and customer reports
* Archiving and document control
* Pro-active problem solving
* Continually monitor all aspects of performance against the contract deliverables/agreed KPI’s
* Identify opportunities for growth/new business
* Highlight and pursue cost reduction initiatives
* Occasional attendance of customer business reviews
* Occasional attendance of other tkM UK sites for meetings, trainings etc
