Company Description Ufton Court is an outdoor learning centre located in Ufton Nervet, offering history and outdoor education experiences on a 44-acre site on the Berkshire/Hampshire border. Our children's education charity provides immersive learning trips for schools and community groups. The Nest, our alternative learning provision, offers a trauma-informed, supportive environment for children facing challenges in mainstream education, with a focus on personal development and experiential learning. Role Description This is a term-time Education Leader role at The Nest in Ufton Court. The Education Leader will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of The Nest programme. This role involves creating and implementing educational strategies, coordinating outdoor learning sessions and ensuring a positive and nurturing learning environment for the children. Qualifications Relevant degree Education and Teaching skills Experience in implementing educational programmes Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills Ability to work with children who have experienced trauma in an empathetic and nurturing way Knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches Previous experience in alternative learning settings is a plus Energy, good humour and not afraid to be outdoors in all weather.
