An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Occupational Health and Wellbeing Department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a qualified nurse to join as an Occupational Health Screening Nurse.
The post holder should ideally have diverse nursing experience and a passion for working within Occupational Health to deliver high-quality services that meet the needs of employees and clients.
The role involves a variety of occupational health screening services for the Trust's 11,000 staff and external customers. Responsibilities include working within a multidisciplinary team to provide confidential services such as venepuncture, vaccinations/immunisations, supporting staff after needlestick injuries, work health assessments, and health surveillance. Clinics may be held across Trust sites or external locations as required.
Applicants must have achieved NMC level 1 registration with post-qualifying experience in the NHS.
Hours are typically within office hours, with some flexibility required to meet service needs.

Following joint working between South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, a formal partnership has been established to form the University Hospitals Tees group. This collaboration aims to improve outcomes for patients, staff, and the wider community by working together on health issues and representing the Tees Valley, County Durham, and North Yorkshire.
The primary base for this role is at James Cook University Hospital, with travel required across other sites within the University Hospitals Tees Group.
