The Royal Ballet and Opera wants to share these life-changing artforms with as many people as we can, working to enrich the cultural life of the nation by growing the public enjoyment and appreciation of exceptional ballet and opera.The role:The Estates and Facilities team are responsible for the maintenance and security of our sites, with a strong focus on engineering solutions and innovation across all sites. The department is currently in a new period of change and growth, making this a very exciting time to join!We are now looking to hire an Estates Project Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of designated estates infrastructure projects. We are looking for someone with experience of M&E technical projects, who can manage a project from inception to handover.What you`ll bring:This role will suit a candidate who has highly effective and confident interpersonal and influencing skills and is able to inspire confidence and develop effective working relationships internally and externally at all levels. You will also be able to demonstrate: Experience of M&E technical projects is essential, and you must be self-sufficient and comfortable managing the project from inception to handover. Experience of estate planning and construction projects. Current project management certification, Prince 2 practitioner, agile management or equivalent. A construction Project Management degree, or relevant degree, or senior level of experience delivering Estates related projects. Professional industry memberships and evidence of CPD. Experience of relationship management including an understanding of operational requirements and sponsorship relationships, and the ability to work within a complex operating environment with a range of different stakeholders.We value the diversity new hires can bring to our workforce.
