We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, skilled, and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with an existing Infrastructure Engineer and technical Infrastructure Manager to support business-as-usual activities and play a crucial role in the development and support of the infrastructure.

The NHSCFA Technology function develops, secures, supports, and operates systems in support of NHSCFA operations. Business critical back-office and internet deployed digital applications are provided to support NHSCFA business streams.
The Infrastructure Engineer is a key role within the NHSCFA Information Systems team, supporting the ICT cloud and on-premise Infrastructure and Data network services to ensure the provision of an efficient and reliable service across all NHSCFA offices and to its remote workers.
We have offices based in Coventry, Newcastle, and London and offer flexible, hybrid, office and home-based working. In addition to the advertised salary, working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the Infrastructure Manager to deliver innovative ICT projects, support, and develop the provision of current ICT Microsoft Azure Public Cloud Infrastructure, Data Storage, Network configuration, Systems, Teams Phone System, and Application Platforms while delivering excellent customer service and system availability in line with Service Level Agreements, while conforming to ISO 20000 practices / ITIL processes and other relevant service delivery frameworks. Working with key suppliers, support the configuration and ongoing management of the NHSCFA infrastructure/network environment, including design and run cost optimisation.
