What the Job Involves Your role as a Domestic Abuse & MARAC Officer involves providing high-quality support and coordination for the MARAC process within the London Borough of Bexley, in line with LBB MARAC Protocols and Safe Lives Guidance. You will work closely with internal departments and partner agencies as the first point of contact, offering support and advice. Your principal tasks include inputting into strategy development, organizing MARAC meetings, ensuring consistent case referrals, and quality assuring MARAC referrals. You will be responsible for maintaining documentation, preparing reports, and supporting the MARAC Chair and DASV Strategy Manager in various functions, including financial duties. You will deliver training programs to familiarize staff with the MARAC process, manage data for reporting to senior management and partner agencies, and ensure the accountability and outcomes for victims. The role demands a proactive approach to personal effectiveness, enabling partnerships, and responding constructively to dynamic service demands.
