SDUK's brands include the Nation’s favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products.
We are hiring two additional headcount to the team at Nuneaton, our packaging centre of excellence, due to plans to further increase packaging lines to site taking us from 15 to 17.
You will have the opportunity to support the continued development of processes to ensure we deliver the highest internal and external standards by completing audits, investigations, and driving projects to implement relevant change.
You will be best suited to the position if you have hands-on experience within a quality assurance role where you are predominantly on the shop floor of a food manufacturing/production environment. Shift pattern: M-F 6am-2pm
Salary: £28,560.48 p/a
YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
* Completing and documenting all the routine quality and food safety checks as required
* Ensuring microbiological sampling and reporting is completed to schedule and sent for submission accurately
* Reporting and escalating any out-of-spec results or quality incidents
* Utilising your eye for detail to ensure compliance with BRC and retailer standards
* Conducting audits, investigations, and implementing changes
* Working with the broader business teams to support the implementation of training, best practice, and key learnings to ensure optimum performance across the shift system
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
* Demonstratable hands-on experience conducting audits in a quality assurance position within a food manufacturing production environment
* The ability work on your own initiative and able to quickly prioritise and manage your own schedule effectively.
* Certificates in food hygiene, HACCP, and GMP
* Able to display a strong understanding of relevant food manufacturing standards
