* System Design and Improvement: Assist in designing, improving, and installing integrated systems to optimize the use of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Enhance Industrial Engineering systems and databases.
* Cost Analysis: Perform cost analyses for sub-assemblies to ensure cost-effective production. Assist finance with BWS hour accuracy.
* Production and Operations Planning: Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to optimize workflows and production schedules. Evaluate machinery and equipment usage to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime. Develop and implement time and motion studies to improve labor efficiency, via the line balancing. Maintain the standard time database.
* Safety Improvements: Participate in safety improvement projects to enhance workplace safety.
* Process Optimization: Analyze existing production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Design and implement new systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality. Reduce waste and inefficiencies using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
* Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data on production performance, efficiency, and cost metrics. Use statistical analysis and simulation software to model and predict the outcomes of process changes. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements and ensure seamless integration across various departments. Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and workshops. Communicate with senior management to align process improvements with business goals.
* Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by continuously seeking new ways to improve processes and systems. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
