About the role
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Teams based at Fieldstone School & The Greater Horseshoe School, Devon and to work as a key integrated member of our clinical teams.
In this exciting role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs.
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of Psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. A significant element of this role will be working alongside the onsite clinical team to continue to develop the clinical service provision for the college, including providing support and training to staff and parents.

Whilst this role is being created to work across Fieldstone School and The Greater Horseshoe School, it may eventually be based at only one of the schools, if school and business needs evolve. The schools are close by, less than 15 minutes’ drive apart and they are overseen by the same Executive Headteacher.
Qualifications:
* Recognised qualification e.g. Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy and registered with appropriate professional body
* Minimum of Level 7 qualification or Level 5 qualification plus adequate and relevant experience
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* BABCP or NCPC registered, plus HCPC where applicable - (Creative/Arts)
* Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently as agreed under supervision
* Experience of multi-professional work teams or services within designated specialty
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to a car
