In this role, you will work with students who attend school in Aston, PA. You will support students with their emotional and behavioral needs throughout the school day, including the classroom, specials, recess, and lunch. In this position, you will work directly under the supervision of a BCBA, who will develop best practice strategies for working with the students.
We will provide training for RBT credential (if not currently certified) and are interested in this career path!

In this role, you will:
* Work one-on-one with students, implementing behavior support strategies and supporting instruction
* Assist in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
* Communicate with the team about student progress
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides support to schools around early learning, academic interventions, safety practices, and the assessment and treatment of students with complex behaviors, cognitive challenges, and communication needs. Devereux uses evidence-based practices with an emphasis on assisting school systems with special education populations.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college/university in special education, psychology, or other related fields; RBT certification strongly preferred. Will consider candidates in process to complete RBT Certification.
Experience: Must have one year of experience working directly with children or adolescents along the autism spectrum/behavioral challenges. Previous RBT experience preferred, but training and supervision will be provided.
