Position Overview
As a Web Developer, you will primarily focus on picking up new skills and honing existing ones while working on a wide range of internal and client-facing projects. Some of the key aspects of the role include:
* Managing or contributing to projects with other team members on new and existing projects, both internal and external.
* Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that doesn’t sacrifice legibility and incorporates best practices.
* Working with clients to deliver the best possible service.
Hours and Location
This is a full-time, permanent position. We offer hybrid working which includes 2 days working from home per week, and we also offer flexible hours when working in our Leeds-based office.
Key Responsibilities
You will be joining Flaunt at an exciting time. As our projects have grown we are looking for a new individual to join the team to expand our capabilities.
We are looking for a passionate individual that can hit the ground running on our array of projects and has strong communication and planning skills which will be utilized within the team and with clients.
In your day-to-day, you will work with a diverse array of technologies, with a primary focus on WordPress (but there are plenty of opportunities to pick up other platforms such as Shopify and React if you are interested).
Qualifications and Experience
* 2 – 3 years of industry experience in web development
* Proven experience creating WordPress themes from scratch, working to a provided design
* Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Keen interest and enthusiasm with a passion to learn and improve.
* Ability to work as part of a team and professionally with clients.
* Experience managing projects on a day-to-day basis
* Knowledge of version control systems including BitBucket and GitHub
* Ability to create bespoke themes from scratch and amend prebuilt themes
* Experience of building Gutenberg blocks
* Good knowledge of ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)

Experience working with Shopify or React
