Our client is a major force within the manufacturing sector. Due to growth, they are now recruiting for a HR Business Partner.
The Role
* The role is managing the delivery of a site HR service ensuring the development and consistent application of HR policies and procedures to optimise employee performance.
* To manage the provision a full site HR service, incorporating employee relations, training and development.
* To ensure operations are within group policies and procedures, legislative requirements and in line with best practice.
* To provide advice and guidance to management, with regards to policies and procedures for managing HR.
* Will report to the Site Manager and Head of HR overseeing around 100 staff onsite.
* As part of the site management team you will ensure that the plant meets the annual budget and contribute to the decision-making process and strategic direction of the plant together with the Head of HR.
* Ensure company structure is appropriate to meet the plant objectives and is in line with standards.
* Form annual manpower plans in line with business requirements and ensure plant adherence.
* Ensure the maintenance of effective employee relations, which are in line with business requirements via the Union.
* Facilitate effective communication systems within the plant for all employees.
