Are you a Hard FM expect looking to take your career to the next level? Sodexo Health & Care are hiring a Head of Hard FM for the Oxford Road Campus, Central Manchester Hospitals. As the Head of Hard FM at Sodexo you'll lead a team to deliver top-tier facilities management service under a prestigious PFI contract. Your expertise will be key in managing a team of both in-house and outsourced dedicated professionals, ensuring the smooth delivery of hard FM services. You will be responsible for ensuring statutory performance compliance, stakeholder satisfaction, and financial performance, as well as the delivery of all Hard FM projects. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee day-to-day management of FM services, including planned preventative maintenance and reactive client needs. Manage financial performance, keeping PMS deductions and penalties to a minimum. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the NHS trust and JV partner. Ensure statutory compliance with all health and safety regulations and FM standards. Lead and develop your team, ensuring professional and courteous representation of Sodexo. Optimize expenditure and ensure the contract is delivered within budgetary parameters. Manage sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring service delivery and innovation. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You will already have held the role of Head of Hard Services and have the proven ability to deliver a commercially led PFI contact in a complex FM environment. You will have a passion for continuous improvement as proving a quality service and compliance should be your driving force. You will also have: Experience of CAFM systems, preferably Maximo. Advanced leadership skills. ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services is desirable, with NEBOSH qualification preferred. Advanced stakeholder management skills. The ability to engage with a diverse workforce. Experience in coaching and influencing teams for high performance. Financial acumen, including P&L management, with a focus on driving contract success. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
