The Role: The role of Executive Assistant is critical to delivering the long-term strategy of our client – to build sustainable & profitable growth, to be a great company to do business with and to be a great place to work. The role will support the Managing Partners with the co-ordination of business-critical activities, projects and the management of compliance, training and competence audits to enable them to deliver new business and customer retention targets in a compliant and sustainable fashion. Responsibilities: Managing the Managing Partner’s emails Managing the Managing Partner’s calendar, including making appointments Answering phone calls in a polite and professional manner and dealing with them personally or routing calls as necessary Organising meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders Coordinating travel arrangements and creating detailed itineraries Reading and analysing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed Maintaining an organised filing system of paper and electronic documents Upholding a strict level of confidentiality Preparing reports, presentations, and briefing notes for the executive Handling personal tasks for the executive as needed You may also be asked to lead a small executive support team. The Person: Live within easy reach of Godalming At least 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant to a senior manager/executive Comprehensive understanding of office management systems and applications Exceptional planning and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Discretion and confidentiality
