Job Purpose The Senior Account Manager/Head of Dealing Desk (Private Client) is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing client management and leading the Private Client Dealing Desk team. This role combines operational management with strategic client engagement, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service while driving the performance of the team to meet organisational goals. The successful candidate will act as a mentor to their team, uphold GC Partners' core values, and ensure a client-first approach. They will also be instrumental in supporting business growth, managing high-value client relationships, and overseeing the effective operation of the Private Client Dealing Desk. Duties/Responsibilities Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for high-value private clients, managing and developing these relationships to ensure long-term loyalty. Ensure clients receive exceptional service, aligning with GC Partners' commitment to placing clients at the heart of the business. Provide tailored advice on FX transactions and strategies, ensuring that clients achieve the best outcomes. Monitor and review client satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the dealing team to optimise client conversion and drive revenue growth. Team Leadership & Management: Manage and lead the team, ensuring they deliver excellent client service. Oversee team workflows and responsibilities, ensuring smooth and efficient dealing desk operations. Provide training, coaching, and performance management to support team development and individual growth. Act as the escalation point for complex client issues, providing resolutions and guidance to the team. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment, ensuring team alignment with GC Partners’ strategic objectives. Operational & Strategic Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Private Client Dealing Desk, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. Develop and implement strategies to enhance client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth. Collaborate with senior management to align team objectives with broader business goals. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both team and individual performance. Contribute to the annual business plan, identifying areas for growth and development within the private client sector. Business Development Support: Partner with the business development team to support the acquisition of new private clients. Attend networking events, conferences, and client meetings to represent GC Partners and promote its services. Leverage market insights to identify opportunities for expanding services or improving client offerings. Qualification & Experience Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to identify and implement improvements. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ethical and results-driven approach to leadership and client management. Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial services sector.
