Position: Electrical QS & Compliance Location: North East London (80% Office Based, 20% Site-Based in Bexley and Greenwich) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Salary: £55,000 Key Responsibilities: Quality Supervision (QS): Oversee and ensure compliance of electrical work conducted by others, including reviewing and certifying QS certifications. Generate and review electrical certificates using NICEIC software to maintain compliance with industry standards. Conduct quality assurance checks to verify that all work aligns with regulatory requirements and company standards. Project Management: Manage two small electrical projects based in Bexley and Greenwich, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery. Coordinate with site teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Provide QS certification for other ongoing contracts and projects. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of certifications, inspections, and compliance reports. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with health, safety, and electrical regulations. Stay current with NICEIC regulations and ensure all projects adhere to them. Key Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in a previous QS role, ideally within the social housing sector. Familiarity with NICEIC software and generating certificates, including QS certifications for work conducted by others. Hands-on experience with electrical compliance and safety in residential projects. Skills: Strong understanding of electrical regulations and compliance standards. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review and certify work to the highest standards. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and certifications simultaneously. Effective communication skills for liaising with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
