An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 4 Technical & Enforcement Officers to join our Environmental Health team on a permanent basis.

Position Details
If successful, you will join a team of existing Enforcement Officers providing and advice and guidance to city residents on appropriate methods of waste disposal, along with undertaking investigation of fly-tipping and inappropriate disposal of waste.
You will undertake foot patrols, ensure compliance with relevant legislation, and take enforcement action. Previous experience of enforcement, dealing with conflict situations, and a current driving licence are desirable. Excellent communication skills and IT skills are essential requirements of the role.

Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 35
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £24,.81 - £25,.37 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £.
