Home Instead are welcoming you the opportunity to learn and earn alongside our established office team providing continuous support to develop you into a professional role. As a People Experience Business Administrator Apprentice, your duties will include supporting with administration, whilst also getting involved with projects.
What you’ll do at work
1. Responsible for all aspects of office administration activities whilst being reactive to the needs of the business.
2. Warmly greet visitors to the office; answer phone calls in a polite professional manner, passing on clear messages where appropriate.
3. Manage correspondence by responding to emails and handling incoming and outgoing post.
4. Maintain effective systems ensuring that all filing and databases are kept up to date.
5. Support service delivery process including ensuring compliance, collecting activity logs and updating systems.
6. Coordinate holidays for the office team and Care Professionals.
7. Coordinate Care Professional retention activities such as newsletters, Care Professional of the month etc.
8. Process invoices and follow up where appropriate with clients and suppliers.
9. Support the reconciliation of bank statements and preparation of monthly accounts.
10. Support projects and IT initiatives where appropriate.
11. Control the office supplies and make sure it is in accordance with office needs.
12. Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity and Equal Opportunities Policy, in respect of employment and service delivery.
13. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.
Qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
1. Maths and English (grade 4-9)
Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have. They can adjust the apprenticeship to reflect what you already know.
Additional Information
Wage: £18,200 a year
The pay rate will be between £10 per hour to £12.21 per hour with up to a 6 month probationary period.
Training course: Business administrator (level 3)
Hours: Monday to Friday. Hours to be confirmed at interview stages.
