The Trust Security Lead - Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) will lead and support the provision of a Security Service, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
This role will act as the Trust Security Professional/Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS), providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures designed to maintain or enhance the security and safety of service users, staff and visitors within our sites and services.
Oversee the efficient operation, planning, and development of the security services.
Act as the Trust Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS)
Provide security advice and expertise to senior managers including directors and executive directors to ensure the Trust meets its statutory obligations in respect to Security management.
Provide technical, strategic and tactical advice and expertise to senior managers including directors and executive directors. This may be during the planning of any Trust activities or as a result of information received from internal or external parties that may have a Security impact on the
Receive and analysis as well as provide classified, highly sensitive, and highly complex information. Review security implications and determine the dissemination of that information within the Trust
Act as the Trusts security expert ensuring that security issues are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Give appropriate advice, judgement and referrals inline with national and local legislation and policy. Make judgements involving complex facts or situations which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a complex range of
Responsible for handling and managing internal and external agencies highly sensitive information with many partners and stakeholders including the police and neighbouring organisations
Work closely with NHS local counter fraud specialists on incidents requiring joint working and/or assurance
