In this role, you will act as the project manager on client accounts, working closely with the account lead (Senior Account Director/Associate Director/Director) to deliver exceptional client solutions. You will lead a project team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that meets client expectations and aligns with the company's values. As an Account Manager, you will oversee project delivery, manage client relationships, and coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Your role will involve mentoring team members, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and contributing to new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for managing competing projects and forecasting project needs. Experience - Ideally educated to graduate level with a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or bring extensive project management experience - Experience in a medical communications agency. -Proven ability to lead client accounts effectively. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Excellent attention to detail, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm. -Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). -Exceptional written and spoken communication skills. Job Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of high-quality medical content for key client accounts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute innovative solutions that address client challenges and enhance patient outcomes. Play a pivotal role in new business activities, including the development of proposals, participation in pitches, and contribution to strategic planning. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met with excellence. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology and other relevant therapeutic areas to inform and guide content development. Receive and clarify client briefs, disseminate information to the internal team. Deliver projects according to the brief, within scope, and budget. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external thought leaders. Oversee and support Account Executives (AEs), Junior Account Managers (JAMs), and other team members in their work. Brief and review freelance design and digital work to ensure it meets client standards. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for reviewing materials and ensure compliance with GDPR and pharmaceutical codes of practice. Manage project timelines, schedules, and client agendas; ensure timely completion of status reports and meeting summaries. Participate in or lead regular client teleconferences to review project status. Efficiently manage multiple projects, develop budgets for review, and ensure accurate reconciliation and invoicing. Forecast project needs and adhere to finance tracking requirements. Contribute to new business proposals, pitches, and research. Be available for domestic and international travel as required.
