This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Early Intervention in Psychosis Team on a 12 month fixed-term contract / secondment. The successful candidate will be joining a highly motivated multidisciplinary team to support service users aged between 14-65 who are experiencing first episode psychosis.
The team is based at Northgate Hospital in Great Yarmouth, but we regularly work from a Lowestoft base too.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in working with people who suffer with mental health difficulties, and you have at least 12 months post qualification experience in a mental health setting or similar.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake the planning and delivery of direct patient care with appropriate supervision, ensuring continuity of practice and working within a multi-disciplinary and multiagency environment.
* Managing a caseload and the provision of Mental Health Care services to people with mental health care needs.
* Support and advice to other health care professionals.
* To support aspects of service development.
* Provide an appropriate learning environment for relevant University students.
* To be responsible for accurate mental health clustering of all patients on admission, discharge and at review.
* To ensure all mental health clustering information is passed onto other Trust teams or services on transfer of patients.
* To ensure the accuracy and quality of mental health clustering activity within the team.

* Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology or equivalent
* Mentorship qualification or ENB 998 Willingness to train to become Sign-off Mentor
