Your apprenticeship will fulfil the role of Warehouse Apprentice within the Supply Chain Team. \n\nAs a Warehouse Apprentice you will learn how to ensure stock is received, stored, picked & despatched accurately, and that all Health and Safety requirements are met and company policies are adhered to. The role will include:\nâ¢\tReceiving and unloading/loading deliveries\nâ¢\tPacking and unpacking\nâ¢\tChecking and booking in orders \nâ¢\tQuality checking and control\nâ¢\tStock management\nâ¢\tMaintaining the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition\nâ¢\tTeamwork â liaise with Engineering and Service Teams \nâ¢\tHealth and safety guidelines within the warehouse\n\nWhat will I learn?\n\nAs a Modern Apprentice you will undertake a Warehousing, Storage and Distribution SVQ Level 2.\n\nThis SCQF Level 5 (SVQ L2) qualification is an entry level qualification, aimed at warehouse assistants, stockroom assistants, stock receivers, dispatchers and stock pickers to name a few. â¢\tEnthusiastic, ambitious and keen to learn\nâ¢\tAttention to detail.\nâ¢\tQuestioning and listening skills.\nâ¢\tNumeracy and literacy skills.\nâ¢\tAbility to plan, organise and prioritise \nâ¢\tReasonable level of computer literacy with experience of MS Office software.\nâ¢\tExcellent communication skills\n\nLooking for a recent school leaver with NAT 5's in English and Maths grade B or above.
