The Role As part of a wider transformation and growth journey, the business is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant into their established team in Glasgow. This is a full-time, permanent role offering varied day-to-day responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements. The role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on transactional finance work, is confident working with systems, and is keen to develop within a growing business. Key Responsibilities Managing the full accounts payable and receivable cycle Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records Processing staff expenses and assisting with monthly reporting Uploading and maintaining data within the accounting system (Sage Intacct) Supporting the month-end close and ad hoc finance tasks Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting The Ideal Candidate You’ll bring: At least 18 months’ experience in a finance support role Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes A proactive mindset and attention to detail Familiarity with accounting systems (Sage Intacct experience is a bonus) An interest in developing your career within finance Studying AAT or planning to pursue a qualification such as ACCA (beneficial but not essential) What’s on Offer £26,000 - £30,000 Hybrid working - 2 days in office, 3 from home Private healthcare 30 days holiday bank An inclusive and development-focused working environment Opportunity to contribute to a growing, PE-backed business with global reach If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we’d love to hear from you.
