Our client has an immediate requirement for a Database Administrator. The Database Administrator will sit within the Project Management Office, reporting directly to the Senior Project Management Officer. Must be of a strong analytical mind, diligent and with outstanding attention-to-detail, excel in reporting standards across multiple products and platforms is essential. The successful candidate must be highly IT literate, in general Office products such as Excel and Outlook predominantly, and comfortable with the use of IT ticketing and portfolio management systems, which will form an extensive part of this role. Key Benefits: Competitive salary - up to £30,000 DOE Hybrid working model Solid pension match Key Responsibilties: Main Duties and Responsibilities: Essential duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Day to day tracking, administration, and reporting of projects across our portfolio. Creation of Project Records in toolsets, reflecting accurate data transition from various products into 1 centralised management tool. Accurate flow management and life cycle tracking, across key tools, of a high quantity of projects. The driver and coordinator of 3 key internal systems - ensuring accuracy of the 3 systems and ensuring they provide a consistent picture of the Portfolio of work. Ensuring that financial reporting in the toolset is reflective of current situation. What is yet to invoiced, part invoiced and what is fully invoiced. Attendance at project calls to ensure current toolsets reflect most up-to-date status. Liaison with Project Managers to garner latest updates. Uphold toolset standards and seek to encourage Project staff to contribute effectively Skills & Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office IT literate, capable of learning new systems A passion to work in IT, or experience working in the IT sector. A detail orientated individual that always seeks accuracy Analytical mind. Attention to detail that is second to none Content with large volumes of information and able to piece together a situationfrom multiple sources. Diligent in approach and consistently seeks to be up to date with information Affable, approachable, with strong interpersonal skills. A can-do attitude always, with an approach that seeks to overcome problems and does not simply escalate first. Strong mental capacity and ability to manage multiple dual running work streams at the same time. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of demonstrable experience in a similar administrative role.
