Your Role as SENCO: • Lead the SEN department and manage a team of dedicated teaching assistants and support staff. • Oversee the identification and assessment of students with special educational needs. • Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). • Work closely with subject leaders and teachers to ensure SEN students are fully supported in the classroom. • Provide advice and training to staff on best practices for supporting students with additional needs. • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture where all students can thrive. Who We’re Looking For: • A qualified teacher with a strong background in SEN and a passion for supporting students with additional needs. • A leadership mindset with excellent organizational and communication skills. • Experience working as a SENCO or in a leadership role within SEN. • A commitment to maintaining high standards and providing the best educational experience for all students. • An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
