* We are looking for a candidate with essential experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to project completion. You should have skills in generating technical documentation at all levels, from requirements capture through to Declaration of Design & Performance (DDP). An understanding of change management and configuration management in a highly regulated industry where safety and performance are paramount is crucial. You should be able to communicate policies, practices, and procedures effectively to your team. Additionally, we value a sense of ownership, resilience, and decisiveness to provide technical direction and guidance in developing electronic solutions. Confidence and experience to assess and sign off on solutions are also important.
* Desirable qualifications include experience with the IBM Rational DOORS toolset (or similar), RF (including antennas) and digital hardware design and testing, and algorithm development with modeling experience in MATLAB/Simulink. Familiarity with SysML or UML in a systems engineering environment and experience with the configuration management system ADZN1_UKTJ will also be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, you will initially support the Lead Design Authority for our flagship Anti-Jam products with the aim of becoming the Lead Design Authority once you have gained sufficient training and experience. Your primary responsibilities will include providing Design Authority support to various activities, including customer program management reviews held in Georgia every six months, monthly customer IPT meetings, and weekly internal IPT obsolescence, risk, and FRACAS reviews. You will be responsible for production support and obsolescence maintenance, managing project requirements, generating technical documentation, performing systems analysis, engaging in hardware design, participating in technical design reviews, and providing technical direction and custodianship of the products.
